  The owners of this new construction home in the hills of Litchfield Ct. chose Kashmir Gold granite, an Indian stone, for their counter tops. Granite slabs which are quarried in India are typically cut much large than stone from other countries and Kashmir Gold granite is no exception. This particular Kashmir Gold has a beautiful polish with a mirror like reflection. While wheat gold is the predominant color you will also see a soft shade of blue gray which drifts across the slab with flecks of crystal and red/brown garnet. The home owner chose an under mount stainless steel sink and a 1/4 round polished edge detail to top off the nutmeg finish of the cabinetry.
